Garden Paws, the next project from Bitten Toast Games, is now running a Kickstarter campaign. The developers ask for CA$ 15,369 and already have funded CA$ 1,192 from 27 backers. The campaign goes until September 10.
Backers can donate from CA$ 2 up to CA$ 3,000, with several tiers in between. Right now, the most popular tier is the Early Bird Gardener: by donating CA$ 20, you get a copy of Garden Paws,
Higher level tiers give you two months early access to the game, soundtrack and more copies of Garden Paws to give to your friends, among other goodies.
If you pledge CA$ 1,000, you can design a character for the game, with unique clothing and hat. You will work with the development team to create a quest for your character, and your name will also be added to the credits as a Character Designer and Quest Designer.
And, if you pledge CA$ 3,000, you can work with the developers to design your own island in Garden Paws: ” Design the hills, coves, caves, types of trees, everything on your island yourself. Create the perfect paradise and invite your friends with these 10 alpha keys and more goodies!”, says the Kickstarter campaign page.
Relaxing multiplayer RPG
Developed by Daniel Snd, Kristina Vandale, and Thiago Adamo, Garden Paws will be released on Steam Early Access on December 2018. Bitten Toast plans to launch the game on consoles in the future.
Garden Paws is described by
In Garden Paws you have inherited your grandparents farm as they set off to travel the world. Work with Frank at the local construction shop to finish off the final touches on your new home. Aid Frank and Mayor Wilson in building up the town so it can reach its full potential.
To build up the town you need coins, what better way to earn those then by running a shop! Explore the islands and its caves to collect everything from flowers to poop to sell in your shop. Over time and with each building built, new townsfolk sail to the island with new items for purchase and quests to complete.
