Twenty Brazilian game studios are attending Gamescom this year. The Brazilian Game Developers project (BGD), a partnership between Abragames (Associação Brasileira de Desenvolvedores de Jogos Digitais) and Apex-Brasil (Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos) will have the biggest delegation of game companies ever in the German event.
For the first time, BGD stand at the business area of Gamescom will have a space to show the games developed by the Brazilian game studios. “Brazilian game industry is in a baby boom! Never have so many games been produced and with so much quality”, says the BGD executive manager, Eliana Rucci.

Among the games BGD will show at Gamescom, are mobile hits like Starlit Adventure, from Rockhead Games, and Horizon Chase, from Aquiris Game Studio. Each one has more than 10 million downloads on mobile devices.
Released 4 months ago, the PS4 version of Starlit Adventure has more than 500 thousand downloads.
Aquiris don’t talk about sales numbers of Horizon Chase Turbo, released this year for PC and PlayStation 4, but the studio will show the Switch and Xbox One ports of the popular racing game at Gamescom. According to Aquiris business director, Sandro Manfredini, both consoles will receive Horizon Chase Turbo before this year Holliday season.
Abragames stand on Gamescom at is at Hall 3.2, D-71. Gamescom 2018 takes place in Cologne, Germany, between August 21 and 25.
